The purpose of this annual conference is to create motivation for research in the field of the history of the Holocaust, as well as to ensure the realization of the creative potential of schoolchildren and cadets.
The Conference was attended by 34 people, including 15 schoolchildren, of which 2 were from Kazakhstan; 15 school teachers, of which 1 was from Kazakhstan; 5 experts in the field of Holocaust history from Moscow and regions of Russia.
The participants were told the history of the Institute of History and Archives. Dr. Altman presented the activities of the International Center for the History of the Holocaust and Genocides.
The first section was dedicated to history of the Holocaust, the second dealt with the topic "The Righteous Among the Nations", the third was called "Memory of the Holocaust".
On January 28, practical classes were held with academic supervisors and schoolchildren on the research work on the history of the Holocaust.
The steering committee plans to publish the presentations in the collection "We cannot be silent: schoolchildren and students speak about the Holocaust."
