Mr. Géza Andreas von Geyr, German Ambassador to Russia, awarded Dr. Ilya Altman, Director of the International Center for the History of the Holocaust and Genocides of RSUH, with the Cavalier’s Cross of the Order of Merit for the Federal Republic of Germany.
The ceremony, which was attended by Rector Bezborodov, was held at the Ambassador's residence in Moscow on the eve of International Holocaust Remembrance Day.
