Academic Council of RSUH approved the plan of financial and economic activities for 2022


On January 25, a session of the Academic Council was held, at which the plan of financial and economic activities was accepted, the Regulations on the status of "Professor-researcher" and "Associate professor-researcher" approved, and a number of changes made to regulatory documents.

Opening the meeting, Rector Bezborodov congratulated everyone on the Day of Russian Students and spoke about the importance of self-realization in academics and creative endeavors.

Rector presented a letter of thanks from the Office of Student Affairs to Mr. Stepan Kozhin, 3rd year student of the Faculty of Information Systems and Security for his active participation in the student life of the University and his contribution toward the formation of a positive image of RSUH.

Mr. Alexander Kulikov, Director General of Russian Register - Baltic Inspection LLC, congratulated the University on its receiving the certificates of professional, public and international accreditation.

“The educational programs of RSUH with its 70 tracks have successfully passed accreditation. Your university has received a worthy result, reflected in the accreditation certificates,” said Alexander Yuryevich.

The Rector of RSUH emphasized the importance of the accreditation procedure for the University in order for it to further develop in the educational and scholarly areas.

“Thanks to our joint efforts, this year RSUH made the list of the top 25 Russian universities in terms of the quality of education. For us, this is an important milestone, and we are not going to stop there,” added Alexander Borisovich.

Ms. Svetlana Tretyakova, Chief Accountant of RSUH, presented a plan for the financial and economic activities of RSUH for 2022. She spoke about about the structure of income and expenditures of the University for 2021 and about the plans for 2022 and 2023/2024.

The information on research expenditures, financial and economic activities, scholarships and wages was also announced. The Council approved the budget for both the current year and the 2023/2024 academic year.

Dr. Nadezhda Arkhipova, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, made a presentation "Management of educational programs as the most important factor in improving the efficiency of SUH", in which she announced the main indicators of the educational, research-related, financial and economic work of the University.

Nadezhda Ivanovna suggested that the participants of the meeting annually monitor the effectiveness of the implementation of educational programs at the University. The monitoring process will determine their rating and a mechanism for recording the monitoring results will be developed at the same time. 

In addition, it was proposed to continue improving the curricula of educational programs in unified elective disciplines (including in the form of online courses, for example, in digital humanities), merging the names and scope of similar courses, as well as expanding the number of disciplines offered online. 

During the session, the Council members approved the Regulations on the status of "Professor-Researcher of RSUH" and "Associate Professor-Researcher of RSUH", and also made changes to the effective contract.

In addition, amendments were adopted to the Regulations “On the procedure for reducing the cost of paid educational services for students at RSUH”.

The Academic Council decided to approve a tuition discount for the employer-sponsored Law students in the amount of 3% for the first academic year.

The Council established the amount of material support of orphans and children without parental care. It includes providing food, clothing, footwear, one-time cash assistance, etc.

Also, the Rules for Admission to the College of Humanities and the Domodedovo branch of RSUH for programs of secondary vocational education for 2022 were adopted.

The session appointed Chairmen of state examination and attestation commissions for continuing education programs for 2022.

A letter from Mr. Maxim Korepov, Acting Minister of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Karelia, was presented to Dr. Vasily Khristoforov, Chair of the Department of International Security, expressing gratitude for his active work to preserve the historical and cultural heritage of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Karelia. Dr. Zhanna Umanskaya was promoted to Associate Professor in the program Theory and History of Culture and Art. Associate professorship was awarded to Dr. Vladimir Shunikov (Theory of Literature) and Dr. Madina Gurieva (Regional and Sectoral Economics).
