On October 4-6, 2021, the World Congress of School History Teachers was held in Moscow. The event was attended by over 300 school teachers, including participants from Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia, North and South America.
The co-chairmen of the Steering committee of the Congress are Dr. Sergey Kravtsov, Minister of Education of Russia and Dr. Alexander Chubaryan, Academic Director of the Institute of General History of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The Congress was organized by the Russian Historical Society and the All-Russian Association of Teachers of History and Social Science.
Within the framework of the congress, the IV All-Russian Congress of the Association of Teachers of History and Social Science was held, where issues of modern school education were discussed. Dr. Efim Pivovar, President of the Russian State University for the Humanities, Director of the Institute for Post-Soviet and Interregional Studies of RSUH, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, chaired the meeting and made a presentation.
