On the 14th of March a Conference, regarding to the rector elections, took place in the Russian University for the Humanities. Efim I. Pivovar was elected as a Rector of the RSUH
On the 14th of March a Conference of representatives of educational, scientific and other categories of workers and students from the RSUH, regarding to the rector elections, took place in the Russian University for the Humanities.
For holding a conference, regarding to the rector elections, it was hold two meetings of the Academic Council, seven committee meetings, all necessary documents and its applications were accepted. Total amount it was elected 210 delegates and approved 3 candidatures to the post of rector of the RSUH on the conference, regarding to the rector elections (they are confirmed at the meeting of the Academic Council of the RHUH on 27.02.2006, record № 2):
To the beginning of the elections, 205 of registered candidates gathered in the Central Auditorium of the RSUH. The conference was held by the chairman of the committee, regarding to the rector elections of the RSUH, vice-rector for Education, Valery V. Minaev. After presentation of candidates, each of them made a report and answered the questions.
Delegates of the conference made comments and wishes, concerning the candidates and their development programs for the University.
Then the close vote took place. A chairman of the counting board, T.V. Kuznetsova, voiced the election results:

In conclusion of the conference delegates voted unanimously for the ratification of the protocol of the counting board about the election Efim I. Pivovar as a rector of the RSUH.
Efim Iosifovich thanked participants of the conference for provided support and promised to make all his efforts for the development of our University, keeping up its traditions.
