Seminar on the implementation of the International Project "TEMPUS Project SCM T035B06"

On the 8th -10th of February a seminar in the framework of the international project "TEMPUS Project SCM T035B06"took place in the Ruhr University (Bokhum city, Germany); this project provided for the development of core competences models of basis educational programs on bachelor and master levels at the training in such directions as "History" and "Culture".

Seminar on the implementation of the International Project "TEMPUS Project SCM T035B06"

On the 8th -10th of February a seminar in the framework of the international project "TEMPUS Project SCM T035B06"took place in the Ruhr University (Bokhum city, Germany); this project provided for the development of core competences models of basis educational programs on bachelor and master levels at the training in such directions as "History" and "Culture". Russian State University for the Humanities (RSUH), Moscow State University (MSU), St. Petersburg State University (SPSU), Chelyabinsk State University, State University of Milan (Italy), Ruhr University (Germany), as well as representatives of the Association of Russian Classical Universities (ARCU) and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation are included in the consortium for the Project’s implementation. The expert of European commission in the field of education Professor Katrin Izecs (University of Pisa, Italy) participated in the seminar and delivered a message. The Project is being realized with a glance of running in Russia the development process and the approval of the Federal state educational standards of third generation. Also the Project’s implementation involves the International Project "Tuning-2", supposing a harmonization and "adjustment" of educational systems in Europe, Asia and Latin America.

At the Bokhum Seminar the Russian State University for the Humanities was represented by Dmitry P. Bak, vice-rector for research, Galina I. Zvereva, the chair of history and theory of culture Department, E. Kovtun, the chair of the Department of Slavic studies and Central European research and E.E, Zemskova, associate professor of the Institute for Philology and History.

With a view to disseminate project results, the holding of the Seminar is assumed with the participation of representatives from Russian universities, realizing two-level educational programs in the areas "History" and "Culturology".
