On the 11th of March, 2008, VIII Chayanov’s readings took place in the Russian State University for the Humanities. The conference, having become traditional, is being held in a year when the world community notes 120 anniversary of the birth of the outstanding Russian economist Alexander Vasilievish Chayanov, the subject of his research were socio-economic foundations of agriculture organization, find ways of increasing the efficiency of agricultural production in Russia. VIII Chayanov’s readings were devoted on the actual theme - the formation of a national model of the Russia’s economics.
