On the 17-19 of November a recurrent IX International Conference – Readings to the memory of Lev Semenovich Vygotsky took place in the L.S. Vygotsky Institute for Psychology of RSUH. The Conference was devoted to the problems of methodology and methods of analysis in cultural-historical psychology. More than 90 researchers from all corners of Russia and CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States) took part in the Readings as well as 15 representatives of far abroad, including former and incumbent presidents of ISCAR (The International Society for Cultural and Activity Research) professor Seth Chaiklin (UK) and professor Marilyn Fleer (Australia), colleagues from Japan, Iran, Estonia, USA and other countries. Students from Institute for Psychology were active members of plenary meetings and sections. Whole more than 500 persons participated in the Conference.
