The Readings opened March 29. This is an international forum at which RSUH gives account of its achievements. In the opening speech Dr. Pivovar thanked everybody who took part in organizing the event, saying, among other things, that the Session of the Supervisory Board of March 26 suggested that the philosophical aspect of the Readings be increased and the period of transition from the information society to the society of knowledge be studied more closely.
Dr. Pivovar talked about the past Readings after which the floor was given to the moderators of round tables: Dr. Zvereva (Theory and Methodology in Humanities), Dr. Bezborodov (Russian Studies), Dr. Toschenko (Social Functions of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences), Dr. Berezovaya (Liberal Arts and Education)
The Readings were held March 29 – March 31.
