The event was held 23-24 April, organized by RSUH and the foundation “Russky Mir”. The conference was attended by many scholars from Russia and abroad. The issues touched upon at the conference included WWII-related research and WWII-related education in schools and universities.
The representatives from CIS countries drew attention to the contribution their countries made to the Victory and the issues of their national identities.
The conference was opened by Dr. Pivovar and Dr. Nikonov, Executive Director of “Russky Mir”.
