The unveiling took place November 24. The goal of the Center is defined as furthering partnership between Russia and the South Asia region, student and specialist exchanges, facilitating interdisciplinary projects.
The ceremony was attended by the Ambassador of Pakistan, representatives from the Embassies of India, Sri Lanka, and Nepal, representatives of the Russian Center for International Scientific and Cultural Cooperation, radio “Golos Rossii”. The ceremony was opened by Dr. Pivovar.
