The international conference “Russian/soviet studies in the us. american studies in russia: mutual representations”

The conference was held 16-17 February, organized by RSUH with the participation of the Embassy of the US, Fulbright program and George Kennan Institute.

Dr. Pivovar opened the Conference and Mr. Eric Rubin, Deputy Head of the US mission in Russia, stated that the main task of such forums was to develop and improve Russian-American cultural relations.

Dr. Chubaryan, Director of the Institute of World History of the Russian Academy of Sciences, talked about the history ofrelations between the two countries.
