ITAR-TASS: RSUH develops contacts with U.S. universities.
The expanded program will allow for joint diplomas for both RSUH students studying in the US and vice versa. Dr. Pivovar said that that would make the graduates’ qualifications more attractive for the job market.
Dr. Pivovar met with Deans of two American Universities: University in California and Pasadena City College (CA).
Dr. Pivovar is certain that the new program will propel the Russia-US relations to a new level and, among other things, will help acknowledge the quality of the Russian education and give RF universities high international rating.
Rector hopes to implement the program starting September 1, 2001 saying that this goal is attainable provided further negotiations with American universities are successful.
