The event took place May 16-17. It opened with a speech by Dr. Krongauz in which he praised the contribution the young researchers had been making in the work and organization of such conferences. Dr. Krongauz also spoke on the importance of the Conference for linguists, translators and foreign language teachers.
The first presentation was made by Dr. Smolitskaya on “The Song of Roland”.
