Within the framework of the official visit of the representatives of the U.S.–Russia Bilateral Presidential Commission, on October 4 RSUH hosted Russian-American Conference on Media held in collaboration with ITAR-TASS.
The goal of the event was to discuss and work out joint plans on cooperation in the field of education, culture and media. The delegates represented the leading US media outlets whose journalists have extensive experience of working in Russia.
Mikhail Gusman, First Deputy of General Director of ITAR-TASS, opened the Conference by thanking the University for providing an opportunity to interact with students and answer their questions online.
The Conference concluded with the round table on professional ethics moderated by Pavel Gusev, editor-in-chief of Moskovsky Komsomolets and Chairman of the Journalists’ Union.
