Hindi students of the Faculty of International Relations and Area Studies discussed migration, ethnic and social conflicts, issues of political identity in the northeastern states of India. For many years, the migration processes have remained a significant problem in these states. The political identity of the indigenous tribal communities and the electorate composition have radically changed in the region due to the new Citizenship (Amendment) Act, 2019 and COVID-19 pandemic.
