On December 3, Russian State University for the Humanities, within the framework of the program "Russia-Austria: history, politics, economics, culture", opened courses of Dr. Erwin Schmidl, Director of the Institute for Strategy and Security Policy of the National Defense Academy in Vienna and Dr. Joerg Hofreiter, Honorary Consul of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Graz.
The course offered by Dr. Schmidl is aimed at developing a systematic vision of the genesis and evolution of Russian-Austrian relations among students, as well as understanding the experience of mutual Russian-Austrian presentations.
Dr. Hofreiter will teach a general understanding of the political, economic, legal, socio-cultural features of the development of Austria and the role of this country in the historical process.
