The representatives of the Mendeleev and Blok State Memorial Museum-Reserve showed several short films about the life and work of Blok in Shakhmatovo.
The sophomores from the Department of Foreign Regional Studies and Foreign Policy Maria Skorobogatova, Alena Plotnikova, Ekaterina Moskalenko, Alina Fasakhova, Amina Mukhametkhanova, Sofya Kiseleva recited poems in Hindi translated by the famous Indian translator Varyam Singh.
The sophomores from Center for the Study of the Benelux Countries Polina Tikhonova and Alexander Poverinov recited poems in Dutch.
Novikova Arina, 1st year M.A. student, recited a poem translated into Spanish.
An online exhibition of works dedicated to the legacy of Alexander Blok was held by students of the Art-Design Center
Students from three large Indian states - Maharashtra, Gujarat, Assam, and from the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies (Republic of Uzbekistan) took part in the competition.
The students of these universities recited poems in Russian and English, in Marathi and Hindi.
The 4th year students of the Faculty of World Politics of the Lomonosov Moscow State University Arina Shikina, Yulia Aleshina and Alan Dzhigkaev read Blok's poems in Hindi. They were joined by Tatyana Ikonnikova (IAAS MSU), who read the poem "Seeking Salvation" in Hindi.
