International poetry competition “Recital of Sergei Yesenin’s poems in different languages” dedicated to the 125th anniversary of the great Russian poet was held via ZOOM.
This was a joint project of 6 universities and Russian Language Department of the Russian Center for Science and Culture (Mumbai, India):
Russian State University for the Humanities (RSUH, Moscow), Faculty of World Policy of Lomonosov Moscow State University, Krishna Kanta Handiki Open State University (Gauhati, Assam, India), University of Mumbai (Mumbai, Maharashtra, India), Savitribai Phule Pune University (Pune, Maharashtra, India), Shivaji University (Kolhapur, Maharashtra, India).
About 60 students from these universities recited poems by Sergei Yesenin.
An online painting, graphics, photograph’s exhibition was also presented by students of the "Art-Design" Study Center and College of Humanities of Russian State University for the Humanities. Many thanks to Dr. Tatyana Borisova, Head of Student Creative Work, member of the International Association "Union of Designers", Moscow.
RSUH Hindi group students Maria Skorobogatova, Alena Plotnikova, Ekaterina Moskalenko, Alina Fasakhova, Amina Mukhametkhanova, Sofya Kiseleva, Daniela Todoroschan and Arina Novikova recited Yesenin's poems in Tatar, Hindi, Chinese and Romanian languages.
