As part of the Summer Institute project of RSUH, young foreign teachers and researchers attended lectures at the Tula State Pedagogical University, State Educational Institution of the Tula Region "Yasnaya Polyana Educational Complex" and went on a sightseeing tour of the Yasnaya Polyana Museum-Reserve.

On August 7, the participants arrived in Tula to undergo an internship at TSPU. The guests were greeted by Vice-Rector for International Cooperation and Education Zhanna Fomicheva.

The participants attended lectures on current issues of pedagogy and history teaching, read by the Acting Head of the Department of History and Archaeology Nikita Bilenko and Vice-Rector for Educational Policy of TSPU Svetlana Krayushkina. They learned about the basics of Tolstoy pedagogy from Director of the Institute of Innovative Educational Practices of TSPU Elena Belyankova and Acting Head of the Department of History and Archaeology of TSPU Nikita Bilenko.

Associate Professor of the Department of International Relations of the Belarusian State University Olga Zhuravskaya said:

"I decided to apply to the Institute because it is directly related to my field of interest. I study Eurasian security. Cooperation with the Russian Federation allows me to learn new trends and the visions of our colleagues from RSUH. Of course, I liked the Summer Institute program, which included visits to Tver and Tula. You can learn a lot about history and preservation of historical heritage and pass on some facts to students from Minsk."

All the participants received completion certificates.
