The participants discussed the issue of creating new textbooks on the history of Russia.
Konstantin Mogilevsky, Deputy Head of the Ministry of Education and Science, a graduate of RSUH, proposed creating a historical and cultural synopsis, which would include the knowledge that every student who has completed this course should acquire:
"It can be as short as 20-30 pages, but it should include the most significant dates, events and facts."
In addition, the Deputy Minister spoke about increasing the number of budget places allocated for historical specialties, noting the fairly high competition:
"For example, 8,350 applications were submitted to RSUH for the History program, and for one of the programs ("History of International Relations"), the competition reached 240 people per spot."
