As part of the RSUH Summer Institute project, young foreign teachers and researchers attended lectures and master classes at Tver State University (TvSU) and went on sightseeing tours of the Imperial Travel Palace and the historical center of Tver.
On August 1, all participants of the Institute left Moscow and arrived in Tver. During the opening of the Tver internship, the guests were greeted by Acting Rector Sergey Smirnov, Vice-Rector for Educational Activities and Youth Policy Natalya Serditova and Dean of the Faculty of History of TvSU Tatyana Leontyeva.
Dr. Smirnov said:
"You have come to the right place and at the right time. Our University is friendly, energetic and creative. This is a university that, on the one hand, has deep historical roots, and on the other, is always looking to the future."
The participants listened to lectures and attended master classes on digital humanities, archeology, historical databases, which were conducted by associate professors of the Department of Russian History of Tver State University Yulia Stepanova and Sergey Bogdanov, as well as a research fellow of the Laboratory for Archeology of Tver State University Vladimir Bogdanov.
In addition, the organizers of the Institute prepared a cultural program for foreign guests: the participants toured the Imperial Travel Palace and the historical center of Tver.
One of the project participants, an employee of the China University of Economics and International Trade Liu Yang said:
"I will get a lot of useful information, new knowledge about Russian history. I am very pleased to be here and learn something new."
During their trip to Tver, our foreign guests acquired valuable knowledge, had unforgettable impressions and made new acquaintances.
Upon completion of the program, the participants will receive certificates of advanced training at RSUH, as well as certificates of internships at partner universities, including Tver State University.

From July 29 to August 12, Summer Institute is being held at RSUH. This year, the participants are teachers and researchers from Armenia, Abkhazia, Belarus, Vietnam, the Islamic Republic of Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, China, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan.
