Academic Council of RSUH made a number of changes to the regulations of the University

On April 7, a session of the Academic Council of RSUH was held, at which new educational programs were approved and changes made to the admission rules for 2022 and other regulatory documents of the University.

Rector Bezborodov announced that a proposal had been received from the Administration of the President of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation to award Dr. Galina Ershova, Director of the Knorozov Mesoamerican Center with a presidential Certificate of Merit. It was unanimously supported by the members of the Academic Council.

283 B.A., specialist and Master's programs for 2022 were approved by the Council.

After the presentation of Dr. Shkarenkov, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, the Council approved a new version of the Regulations on the procedure for filling faculty positions. The Rules for admission introduced a new category of applicants: “citizens of the Russian Federation who interrupted their studies in foreign institutions”, as well as “citizens of the DPR and LPR”. A prerequisite for these categories is crossing the border of the Russian Federation in 2022.

In addition, changes were made to the Regulations for the Procedure for the Transfer, Expulsion and Reinstatement of Students at RSUH, aimed to facilitate the transfer and enrollment of students who are now staying on the territory of the Russian Federation, as well as those who have lost the opportunity to study abroad.

Amendments were made to the Regulations on the procedure for reducing the tuition.

The Council also adopted amendments to the Rules for admission to programs for training of academic and education cadre in the graduate school in 2022 and to the Procedure for the transfer of graduate students.

Summing up the meeting, Rector Bezborodov said that the RSUH was among the leading universities in the RAEX ratings in "Sociology", "Psychology", "Philology and Journalism", "Linguistics and Foreign Languages", "History and Archeology"
