The conference took place in RSUH, June 22-26, organized by the Institute of Africa of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Center of History and Cultural Anthropology of RSUH and Center of Civilization and Regional Research of the Russian Academy of Sciences.  142 researchers from 14 countries attended the conference.
