On March 3, the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation hosted the International Interuniversity Conference “Artificial Intelligence, Green Economy and the UN Sustainable Development Goals: Challenges and Solutions”.
The Department of World Economy of the Institute of Economics, Management and Law of RSUH was represented by Dr. Zenkina, Chair of the Department and Dr. Kostromin, who made presentations on the following topics: "ESG-approach as a tool for sustainable development of countries" and "The role of foreign companies in the sustainable development of Russian territories", respectively.
The conference was also attended by Dr. Danelyan, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Dr. Evans, representative of the Russian Space Society, Dr. Tolmachev, Professor of the Department of World Economy, Ms. Adelyanova, representative of Rosatom, Dr. Kharlanov, Dr. Mustafin, Dr. Farkova, Dr. Seregina and others.
Particular attention was paid to the discussion of the position and national interests of Russia in the process of establishing a "green economy" and the trends of a carbon-free future in the program for the development of the Russian economy for 2040.
The event was organized by the Research Laboratory "Interdisciplinary Studies of the World Economy" of the Department of World Economy of the Diplomatic Academy of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
