Knorosov Center for Mesoamerican studies was opened in 1999. The Center implements research projects in archaeology and epigraphy of Pre-Columbian civilizations and in anthropology and linguistics of American’s native population. The second important goal of the Center is to train professionals of Latin America history and culture. For this reason the Center has admission of students of history since 2000. Now there are two education programs: bachelor’s degree program «The History and Culture of Latin America», and master’s degree program of «Latin-Americans Researches».
