The Section of Oriental Languages and Cultures includes the Department of Oriental Languages and the Center for Fundamental and Applied Studies of Oriental Languages and Cultures.
The educational tasks of the department include training specialists in the field of Interpreting and Translation Studies of Oriental languages, as well as teaching Oriental languages at other faculties.
The departments of the Faculty and the Section of Oriental Language and Centers offer three majors at the undergraduate and graduate levels: “Fundamental and applied linguistics”, “Philology”, “Linguistics”, and “Translation and interpreting studies” (Specialist program).
