The international educational scientific center “Higher School for European Cultures” of RSUH (in 1996-2007 Institute for European cultures) is a part of the faculty of Cultural Studies established in RSUH in 2018. HSEC offers two international MA double degree programs:
From 2007 to 2019 76 HSEC students completed a semester internship at the Ruhr University, 107 students and graduate students from Germany, Austria and Italy completed internships at the HSEC. 57 Russian and 24 foreign students received master's degrees from two universities.
The point of the HSEC is the training of specialists competitive at the European level, who can subsequently continue their academic careers as well in Russia, as in Europe; during all semesters of study, special attention is paid to the support of an individual research project (master's thesis).
