Continuation of lectures on Brazil. "History and Culture of Мigration in Brazil"

The course of lectures on Brazil continues at the International Russian-Brazilian Center. This time, students of the associate professor G.I. Kobzeva, learning center “Art-Design” were offered a lecture on the history and culture of emigration. When meeting Brazilians, one can often hear amazing stories about their migrant great-grandfathers and great-grandmothers. Only at the RSUH there were a few Brazilian professors with such "non-Brazilian" names as Zabolotsky, Melninchuk, Opperman, Wasserman, Ronzani, Belfort, Suzuki, Burkhard and others. All of them are children of emigrants from different countries of the world who came to this hospitable tropical country many years ago.

The lecture, offered by the director of the center, L. I. Baturina, tells about the reasons and history of migration flows from all over the world to Brazil throughout its 525-year history, about the culture of various countries, brought in and assimilated into the Brazilian environment, but retaining its roots and distinctive features that remain evident in all spheres of life of the Brazilian society to this day.

Lectures on Brazil are held in Russian offline for all students of the RSUH.
