On the eve of Victory Day, representatives from RSUH attended the historical reenactment play “The Nuremberg Verdict: Lessons of History for the Present and the Future” at the National Center “Russia.”
“It is vital to involve young people in preserving and passing on historical memory. We must always look for ways that are engaging and understandable to the younger generation. I believe this production, created by young people, meets those criteria,” said Konstantin Mogilevsky, Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, on May 6 during the presentation of the student performance.
The play was prepared by students from Moscow State Linguistic University with the support of the Russian-Austrian public forum Sochi Dialogue and the National Center “Russia.” The production commemorates the 80th anniversary of the Victory and aims to preserve the memory of Nazi crimes and the significance of the Nuremberg Trials for the modern world.

All scenes were based on authentic archival material: court transcripts, speeches by prosecutors and defense attorneys, and excerpts from verdicts.
