Since April 2002 the Russian State University for the Humanities has been a participant in the project "TEMPUS JEP Russia / Europe Mobility and ECTS within European Modern Languages", which represents an important step towards the modernization of the higher education and its integration into the European educational system.

The participation of the RSUH in the Tempus program is the most promising areas of cooperation with its foreign partners RSUH; this program is directed at the convergence of educational systems of universities of the European Union countries.
