The Russian State University for the Humanities remains true to its mission of preserving historical memory: the patriotic event “Victory Dictation” was held at RSUH.
In anticipation of the upcoming Victory Day holiday, RSUH became one of the venues for the international “Victory Dictation”, which took place on April 25 and united people of all ages through shared historical memory. The event was organized by the Department for Youth Affairs and the “Victory Volunteers at RSUH”.
This year, 35,000 venues across the country were set up for the dictation, 200 of them in Moscow. At RSUH, 105 participants registered. Traditionally, the Dictation extended beyond Russia with more than 90 venues operating worldwide, allowing anyone interested to test their knowledge of the Great Patriotic War. Additionally, questions related to the special military operation became a distinctive feature of the 2025 dictation.
The “Victory Dictation” is an annual international campaign dedicated to the events of WWII. It is not only a test of knowledge but also an opportunity to honor the heroic deeds of the peoples of the USSR in the fight against fascism. The event has been held since 2019 on the initiative of the United Russia party.
