That was a joint project organized by Hindi group students and teachers and some Departments of the RSUH and other Russian and Indian Universities.
The event held on mixed format.
The Art-Design Study Center students presented an exhibition of creative works dedicated to Indian art.
Dr. Elena Remizova, Director of the Russian House in Mumbai (Rossotrudnichestvo, India), delivered a plenary report dedicated to observing the colonial system in former colonies. She noted that contemporary post-colonial historical interpretation requires a wide approach and the diversity of sources and comparison of various historical facts, working with archives, original sources and correction of previously, made translations should provide new data for the construction of modern historical concepts.
Four sections worked during the conference. The working languages of the conference were English and Russian, Dutch, Afrikaans.
62 participants from different Russian and Indian universities presented their papers.
