Prof. Alexander Stoyarov was a moderator of the plenary session where three eminent Indian professors from various North East Indian universities delivered lectures for Russian students who are studying the international relation between Russia and India and problems of the northeast region of India.
1) Prof. Jayantha Kumar Sarma, Director, Bhupen Hazarika School of Mass
Communication, Krishna Kanta Khandika State Open University (Gauhati,
Assam, India) will deliver a lecture. Topic: “Politics and Economics of North
East India”.
2) Prof. Jayanta Krishna Sarmah, Head of the Department of Political Studies,
Guwahati University (Gauhati, Assam, India) will deliver a lecture. Topic:
“Politics of Sixth Schedule and Autonomous Councils in North East India”
3) Prof. Biswajit Mohapatra, Associate Professor, Politics & International Relations, North-Eastern Hill University, Shillong, Meghalaya, India
The student’s presentations section was organized after plenary reports. 4th year students of the Department of Foreign Regional Studies and Foreign Policy of the Faculty of International Relations, Political Science and Foreign Regional Studies of the Institute of the History and Archives discussed many topics:
1. Amina Mukhametkhanova, Topic of the report: “Public associations providing assistance for Indian women”
2. Alena Plotnikova. Topic of the report: “Nagaland migration policy”
3. Sofia Kiseleva.Topic of the report: “Digitalization in the state of Nagaland”
4. Ekaterina Moskalenko. Topic of the report: “Political identity of the tribes of the Indian state of Nagaland”.
5. Maria Skorobogatova. Topic of the report: “Social consequences of covid-19: using the example of the state of Nagaland”
6. Sai Mekhonoshina. Topic of the report: “Indian diaspora in the Co-operative Republic of Guyana”
