International research online conference dedicated to the 115th anniversary of the birth of Shrimati Mahadevi Varma, an Indian writer, poet and translator

Russian State University for the Humanities jointly with Russian universities and universities of the CIS countries organized an International research online conference dedicated to the 115th anniversary of the birth of Shrimati Mahadevi Varma, an Indian writer, poet and translator.
Shri Sanjay Vedi, Director, the Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre (SVCC), Embassy of India, Nur-Sultan (Kazakhstan) delivered welcome address to participants.
Teachers and students of various universities involved in research in the field of Hindi language and literature presented their reports, discussed the literary works of Shrimati Mahadevi Varma in three thematic blocks: poetry, prose and pedagogical activity. Some students recited poems by Shrimati Varma in Hindi and expressed their opinion about the work of the writer.
