During his opening remarks, Mr. Faisal Ahmed noted that one of the main items on the agenda of the Embassy of the People's Republic of Bangladesh is the task of the cooperation with Russian universities in organizing international seminars and round tables on the topics of international relations, political science, economics and philology.
Such meetings would help to interest Bangladeshi youth people in getting an education at the Russian State University for the Humanities.
Prof. Vera Zabotkina stressed that the RSUH cooperates with more than two hundred universities in the world and the Asian direction is a priority for the development of international relations. She also briefly spoke about the activities of the university, various programs and levels of training, paying special attention to the support service for foreign students.
Prof Alexander Stolyarov said that only two Bangladeshi students got an education at RSUH during 2015-2020. He also believes that the attraction of a larger number of students from Bangladesh is one of the important directions of the development of the RSUH as an international university.
The result of the meeting was a joint decision to continue the dialogue, since both sides are interested in long-term and promising cooperation.
