The opening ceremony was inaugurated by Dr Sergey Fandeev, Director of the Russian Centre of Science and Culture (Mumbai, India), Mr Ivan Kulakov, Head of the Department of Student Affairs (RSUH), Dr Maria Pushkova, Head of the Centre of languages and cultures of the Benelux countries.
Russian and Indian students recited poems in Russian and in original translations in Hindi, English, Spanish and Dutch.
Victory Day, which is celebrated on May 9, not only marks the end of the Great Patriotic War, but is also an important holiday for the whole world.

International literary online festival "Recitation war poetry" is dedicated to the 76th anniversary of the Great Patriotic War Victory Day was held at RSUH.
