His Excellency D. Bala Venkatesh Varma, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to Russia, noted the importance of the participation of RSUH students and faculty representing Russia and wished all the participants of the Vishwaranga-2020 festival further creative success.
RSUH sophomores Maria Skorobogatova, Sofia Kiseleva, Amina Mukhametkhanova, Alina Fasakhova, Ekaterina Moskalenko, Alena Plotnikova and Arina Novikova, 1st year MA student, read poems by famous Indian poets in Hindi and talked about their studies during the quarantine.

The video included in the program was dedicated to the 150th anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi and the 125th anniversary of Sergey Yesenin. Dr. Indira Gazieva, RSUH Hindi teacher, emphasized the important role the World Literary Festival “Vishwarang-2020” played in furthering cultural cooperation between India and Russia.
