November 26, 2020 The influence of Western cultural values on local culture in South Asian and South-East Asian countries was discussed at the monthly student research workshop at RSUH.
Due to quarantine, the seminar was organized in online format.
2 years BA and MA students presented their reports:
Ekaterina Moskalenko told about the Chinese gave a talk on the influence of Western music in China.
Amina Mukhametkhanova spoke about the impact of Western fashion on Chinese young people.
Ekaterina Romanova 2nd year MA student will make a presentation on the dynamics and transformation of holidays and festive culture in China in the context of modernization processes.
Sophia Kiseleva made a report on the dragon boat festival in China.
Maria Skorobogatova made a presentation on the Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival.
The seminar was attended by 2nd year students of the Faculty of International Relations and Regional Studies of the Institute of the History and Archives.
The goal of such student research workshops is to improve their professional and scientific competencies.
