RSUH students and teachers organized the interdisciplinary student research seminar “Russia-India-China: RIC Format: prospects for collaboration”. The seminar was held in ZOOM format.
The main speakers were:
A.A. Stolyarov, I.A. Gazieva and 1st year students: Maria Skorobogatova, Sofya Kiseleva, Amina Mukhametkhanova.
The panellists were: Victor Toropov, Alena Plotnikova, Alina Fasahova, Daniela Todoroschan Ekaterina Moskalenko.
The students discussed issues on RIC formats, which primarily focus on the following aspects: regional and global stability, economic prosperity, exchange of experience in areas of mutual interest and cooperation.
China, Russia and India are three large countries that make a major contribution to world development.
The RIC leaders’s meetings are held both in the framework of bilateral summits and in multilateral forums.
The current 17th RIC format meeting was supposed to be held in March 2020, but was postponed due to the pandemic.
Despite this, RIC countries are ready to actively expand large-scale integration projects that are being implemented with the participation of three countries: the Eurasian Economic Union, the Chinese initiative "One Belt and One Way". China suggested starting to develop the RIC-plus format.
