A monthly student research workshop was held on February 27, 2020
at Russian State University for the Humanities (RSUH), Moscow, Russia.
The topic of the workshop was - “Security and common ground in Central, South and South-East Asia”.
The lectures were delivered by Irina Romanova MA student, prof. Alexander Stolyarov and Dr Liudmila Pechisheva.
Amina Mukhametkhanova, Maria Skorobogatova and Sofia Kiseleva, 1st year students, presented notes on the environmental situation in India.
The seminar was attended by students of the faculty of international relations and areal studies of the Institute of the History and Archives studies (RSUH):
Vlada Bezbabnova, Peter Dudin, Maria Zinovieva, Stanislav Masailov, Julia Novosedlova, Vladislav Pakhomov, Elena Popova, Victoria Poshvina, Marina Pyanova, Rustam Sadykov, Olga Slykhanova, Valeria Chernysheva, Christina Shiryaeva, Elizaveta Yarotskaya.
Sofya Kiseleva, Maria Skorobogatova, Amina Mukhametkhanova, Victor Toporov, Alina Fasakhova, Ekaterina Moskalenko, Alena Plotnikova.
Prof. Alexander Stolyarov told students about space program in India, the new Silk Road and youth policy in the Asia-Pacific region.
Dr Liudmila Pechishcheva told students about global political and economic issues affecting the shift of the main centers of power from West to East, the changing architecture of the world and the balance of forces in the era of turbulence, as well as in the emerging new world order scenario for the development of Russia, which is a bridge between the West and the East. In addition, the global geopolitical scenarios of the famous political scholar Dr Parag Hanna were analyzed.
