RSUH teachers and students visited Vivek college of Commerce, Maharashtra, India

RSUH teachers - prof Alexander Stolyarov, Dr Irina Maximenko, Dr Indira Gazieva, Mr Ilya Muhanov, managing officer of the Department of International relations and students Alena Plotnikova, Arina Novikova (Moscow State University) took part in the “International Symposium on prospect of Higher education with student exchange program” organized by Vivek education society’s Vivek College of commerce in collaboration with the Department of Centre for Central Eurasian studies (CCEC) University of Mumbai, Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) Career and Placement Cell.

They met with the stuff: Dr Vijetha Shettym – principal, Shri S. Sriram, Presidemt of Vivek Education Society, Dr Neelu Khosla, Mrs Manisha Naik, Associated professor, C.A. Mr Jayesh Vaidya, Associated professor, C.A. Mr Shrikant Marathe, Assistant professor, Mrs Maya Hande, Assistant professor and others.

Dr Vijetha Shettym – principal, Shri S. Sriram, Presidemt of Vivek Education Society welcomed Russian Delegation. Dr Vijetha Shettym told about the educational system of Vivek college of Commerce, its faculties and facilities.

Russian guests were presented with gifts – shawls, books and paintings of college students.

A video clip about Vivek college of Commerce was presented to Russian guests.

Prof Alexander Stolyarov was a key note speaker at the Symposium. He told Indian colleagues about the educational system in Russia and at the Russian State University for the Humanities (RSUH).

Prof. Sanjay Deshpande told participants about his impressions about studying in Russia.

Russian language learning issues, prospects for cooperation, organization of joint workshops on humanitarian research were also discussed.

Indian students asked Russian guests different questions - about studying in Russia and Russian youth people’s life and interests.

The National Anthem of India and Russia was played after the Symposium.

Vivek College’s students presented a cultural program - songs and dances from various Indian states.

Arina Novikova, MSU student sang Russian song.
