The Symposium was organized by Department of Assamese in collaboration with Department of History and Centre for Studies in Philosophy.
Prof. Alexander Stolyarov from Russian State University for Humanities (RSUH) was delivered a lecture “South Asian studies in RSUH”.
Dr. Indira Gazieva, Department of Oriental studies of the Institute of Linguistics (RSUH) has told students and teachers of Dibrugarh UNI about teaching Hindi and Indian studies in RSUH.
Ms Arina Novikova, BA student of Department of History of the Lomonosov Moscow State University presented the thesis about shamanism in Altai region and in India.
Inauguration session was opened by Prof. Nava Kumar Handique, Dr. Chandan Kr.Sarma and Dr. Pranjit Bora.
