RSUH Chinese-Hindi group students Daniela Todoroshchan, Amina Mukhametkhanova and teachers participated the performance of Hindustani Kalari Sangam artists, who arrived from Kerala (India) to Moscow.
The event was opened by Dr. Usha Radhakrishna, Director, Jawaharlal Nehru Cultural Centre, the Embassy of India in Moscow.
Dr. Usha Radhakrishna is a former Member Secretary Intangible Cultural Heritage, Ministry of Culture and has the credit of securing the Nominations of Yoga, Kumbh Mela and Varanasi Creative city in UNESCO Representatives List.
The Hindustani Kalari Sangam artists showed to Russian people a dramatic play of “Viran” - the folk tale demonstrated the art of kalaripayattu and teyam and the incendiary rhythms of the Indian drums “mizhavu” and “chenda”.
The director of the play is Mr. Prabhat.
