International poetry online festival “Translations of Vasily Shukshin ‘stories in different languages” was a joint project of several universities for over the world.
RSUH, India, Brazil, Kyrgyzstan countries took part in this event dedicated to the celebration of the Vasily Shukshin’s 95th anniversary (1929-1974), Soviet Russian writer, actor, screenwriter and film director.
45 students recited poems in in Russian, English, Hindi, Kyrgyz, Spanish, Portuguese and Dutch.
Opening remarks were delivered by:
Mrs. Yulia Aryaeva, Counselor, Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Republic of India;
Dr. Elena Remizova, Head of the Rossotrudnichestvo Representative Office in India, Director of the Russian House in New Delhi, Counsellor of the Embassy of the Russian Federation.
